    By Mathnasium | Added Nov 1, 2018

This fun Thanksgiving turkey math activity gives students (and parents, siblings, or cousins) a chance to practice their elementary level math skills in a colorful and imaginative way!

November is here, the month of family, feasting, and giving thanks. It's also a great month for a turkey math activity! Because the holidays are no reason to let math skills slip. In fact, it might be the perfect way to take a short break with your children during a hectic season. Studies show that when parents and kids do math together, kids are more likely to enjoy math and feel like they're good at it.  This fun coloring activity gives students (and parents, or siblings, or cousins as well) a chance to practice their math skills in a colorful and imaginative way!

Before I came to Mathnasium, I could sum up everything I felt about math in one word: 'EVIL!' I hated math. ... Mathnasium has been my safe haven. They truly have shown me the light when it came to addressing my fear and provided me with the tools that I need to rebuild my prior knowledge so that I won't forget it. Math is no longer a subject I shy away from but it is a subject I can boldly accept and understand.
